Have you ever had so much fun?

Have you ever been to an event or party that was so much fun you wished it didn’t have to end?

If you are lucky you have!

It’s a wonderful feeling and a wonderful memory.

Believe it or not, that event or party didn’t happen by spontaneous combustion or by wishful thinking.
Somebody or a team of “somebodies” prepared and planned to have all the elements of that celebration come together.

From picking the place to inviting the guests, all the little details were thought out and decisions were made.

Just like the time and attention you put into deciding what to wear so you’ll have the most fun and look your best, the party planner is doing the same for everyone.

Step and Repeat LA does the same when creating the backdrop for a party or event.

Step and Repeat LA backdrops and red carpets have been helping to create those special moments that your friends will talk about. The photos that you can show your friends will keep that party alive for years in the hearts of all who see them.

I’ll never forget…

I’ll never forget…

How many times have you or someone close to you used those three words “I’ll never forget…” continuing with words that describe a moment that has some special significance?

As a Party Planner or Event Coordinator, these words can mean delight or disaster depending on what the person goes on to explain about their ‘special moment’.

Are they going to describe a cherished memory that the planner or coordinator helped to create or are they about to launch into the worst memory of chaos and destruction ever uttered in public?

The people involved in creating parties and events and the people involved in making the props that will help bring these events together have one general thought in mind: I want this to be the most memorable event (party, anniversary, fundraiser) that these people have ever experienced and I want them to use my services and/or products for their upcoming engagements.”

  • Did the theme of the party entertain and uplift its intended audience?
  • Did the music have the desired effect?
  • Did everyone enjoy the food?
  • Were there enough beverages?
  • Did the Step and Repeat banner bring the right tone to the party? Was it used?
  • Did the people leave with smiles on their faces and party favors and photos to help them remember the event?

“I’ll never forget standing in front of that banner and posing and making funny faces and then glam-ing it up and being part of the party video! You should have seen you-know-who all dolled-up and making love to the camera…what a blast! I hope they put on another party like this next year!”

Step and Repeat LA has helped create this effect many times! Their quality banners, red carpet, stanchions and lighting have helped to create those talked-about moments that make any event truly worth mentioning!

Wedding Songs: Which one is the right one?

Part of the long established rituals that surround the wedding nuptials is the wedding song.
Actually, there are many songs that have to be chosen for this special event.
The music used while the guests are finding their seats, the wedding procession and the wedding march.
Then there is that one very special and personal choice… the couples wedding song.
You have the music for the reception and for the special dances that include the first dances: the bride and groom, the bride and her father, the groom and his mother, etc.

And finally, what will the music be for the guests to party with?

Music is am important part of any event for it sets the emotional tone of the whole experience.
A wedding planner realizes this and usually has a selection from which to choose for the expectant couple. Deciding whether to have a DJ or live band for the reception along with the musicians selected for the wedding procession.

She or he will probably have music prepared that you can listen to and choose from but if by chance the music is not what you had in mind, you can always check out wedding songs on YouTube. There are some excellent videos with songs that have been favorites of other wedding couples.

Here are a few pointers to keep in mind when selecting music for this important day in your life:

1) If you have a specific theme for your wedding whether it is a luaus or a traditional Jewish ceremony, make sure the music (at least the seating and procession songs) compliment them.

2) Select songs that can be danced to if you are having the traditional wedding reception

3) Make sure that you have slow and fast beat music so that your guests can enjoy boogie and swing and fox trot and waltz along with the robot and break dance if you have people of all ages attending

4) If you decide to have a choreographed wedding procession and first dances at the reception make sure that the mix you select is well cut and timed out to fit the dance numbers.

5) Make sure that the song you select as the one for you and your betrothed is one that you can dance to and you might want to practice your dancing for it so you are not worried or awkward when dancing on the floor together as man and wife.

6) And above all, pick music that you love listening to and dancing to and having fun with! After all, this is your special day!

How-to video

Step and Repeat LA has created a “How-to” video that you can watch on YouTube that shows precisely what one needs to do in order to assemble a step and repeat banner.

This little video is one of the best that I have seen of its kind.

It begins by laying out all the pieces that come with your step and repeat banner.
You will have no problem distinguishing which piece goes where. Following what the instructor does and placing your items where he places his, will make the rest of the steps go very smoothly.

If you are still not sure about any of the steps, please feel free to give them a call and express your concerns and the customer service department will address your needs until you feel confident and are able to set up your banner.

The video lays out the sequence of actions needed to complete the installation of your banner.

Even if you haven’t ordered your banner yet, you can watch the video to see how easy it will be.

Save time..use professionals!

You have graduations to attend and parties to plan!

Your best friend has just announced she is getting married and wants you to be the maid of honor which means you need to plan (at the very least) a bachelorette party plus help the bride decide on the one thousand other little details..oh!.
And your parents are about to celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary and you are selected to plan a surprise party for them!
And your work wants you to put in overtime putting together that deal and it’s due in three weeks and you are project managing it! Your bonus depends on this coming together perfectly.
You might not think that special events in one’s life can happen all in the same time period but believe me they do. That’s where we get sayings like ‘things happen in three’s ‘ (usually harmful but some just high stress)

I know, sometimes it’s hard to let go and let someone help you out. After all, no one could possibly do things as well as you! Even though the clouds are gathering and the storm is approaching ,remember…   You are not alone!

There are people out there who speak your language! Who thrive on quick and precise problem solving and who have brilliant ideas that can be translated into any one of those special events that are all happening one right after the other.

They are the event coordinators and the party and wedding consultants.

You wouldn’t know where to begin to select the ones that would work best for you?
Word of mouth is one way of finding out.
Who do you know has just celebrated an anniversary, wedding, fundraiser, or special birthday party? Did you like the event? Find out who they used and give them a call.
You can always google for the info you need. Just type in what event it is and watch the names start showing up.

It might take a little research and a lot of prayers but you can do it. In the end, you will have found a friend for life! Someone you can go to that is as detail-oriented as you are.
You know that special banner you saw at your best friends birthday bash? You still have the pictures of the party? That is a special step and repeat banner and they got it from Step and Repeat LA.
You can click here for more information
The staff are incredible and can get you what you need for all of your events coming up.
They are also in touch with some of the best planners and coordinators out there and can help match you up with someone that will be best for you.

Their staff believe in high quality products and high quality results at the best prices in town and they are fast in delivery of precisely what you ordered.

Now you can better concentrate on your work project that will earn you that big bonus.
At least you can stop pulling your hair out.
